Tanker And Trailer
Looking at a wide angle view of an old tanker and a smaller trailer left to rot in the elements outside a closed business in Dayton, Ohio.
This was another shot from a past find in Dayton, Ohio. The little storage trailer was full of character but stuck next to a tree. I used the tree as a bit of a framing element and tried to capture the tanker behind it in whole. I felt the leading lines of the tanker really emphasized the perspective felt from the perspective lines of the trailer. I knew the lid, with a dark shadow would create a focal point when shooting the picture so I played that up in the conversion to black and white during post-processing.
