Flash tipA while back I let loose a handy little Flash command I made for myself to use at work. I work in a team production environment and sometimes you have to think about how a project might be updated and understand that not everyone has the same font list to work with.

So, I did some experimenting and found a system of breaking text into vectors while saving a backup version as editable classic static text on a separate guide layer. This backup system is done almost automatically with simple keyboard shortcut assigned to a JavaScript command.

To help with installation and use, I created a short video with 2 ways to install the command and a brief example of how to use it. Click 'read more' to see the video. Download link follows video.
